General information for driving in Greece
- Driver’s License: valid driving license held for at least one year is required.
- Minimum age required: 21 – 23 years old.
- Minimum Car Rental: One day. Every hour in excess is calculated at 1/5 of daily rate.
- Traffic Fine: Tickets and attached administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of the Greek Traffic law during rental period are paid by the renter.
- Insurance: All authorized driver’s MUSTANG car hire vehicles are covered against fire, theft and liability, to third parties (excluding passengers in MUSTANG vehicles) for death, injury or damage property.
- Collision damage waiver (C.D.W.): Renters can waive there responsibilities to the amount of 350€ by paying the amount of 7,34€ for the categories A,B, 8,80€ for the categories C,D, and 10,27€ for the categories E,F, provided that the damage is not caused by violation the Traffic Regulation Code.
- Taxes: All rates are subject to 13% V.A.T.
- Gasoline: Gasoline consumption is payable by the renter.
- Ferrying the car: An advance written authorization from MUSTANG is required.
