Mykonos KTEL was founded in 1981 with its headquarters in Fabrika Mykonos and aiming at covering the transportation needs of both the habitants and the numerous visitors. MYKONOS KTEL S.A. was formed in 2003, having as goal the improvement of offered services, as our island's transportation needs continuously increase and change.
The buses are in good condition, achieved by frequently upgrading our fleet, the drivers’ experience and politeness, the constant effort for improving there services, the consistency and flexibility which are there 'trademarks', guarantee the reliability of MYKONOS KTEL SA. It includes 26 buses, some of which are customized especially for the island's tourist needs.
Bus tickets can be bought at departure points and at hotels or in shops such as mini markets, tobacco shops and tourist shops.
The frequent bus service offers the best and most affordable way to visit the above-mentioned locations. Furthermore, the bus varies according to the tourist season (low or high), for summer's night rides, the services are - at times - extended to 04:00 a.m.

The taxi is a comfortable but also expensive means of transport on the island. The prices vary depending on the season. There are no taximeters and the transfer costs are predetermined. There is a table where you can clearly check what a taxi transfer will cost.
The taxi stand is located in the central square of the island, next to the Manto Mavrogenous Statue or you can find taxis at Fabrika square. Before getting into a taxi, look very carefully at the rates for your destination (if they are not on display ask the driver).

Small fishing boats converted into tourist transport, for fun and sight- seeing all at the same time. In every Greek island the caiques are very popular transport option. It is absolutely safe and the ticket cost is real low.
It is the most perfect way to take you to the most remote beaches on the island. From 10 am to 10 pm (high season and May) from Platy Yialos and Ornos, all-day services with our boats accompany you to the famous beaches of the island.
We take you to Super Paradise beach, where the party starts at noon and lasts until the evening, and the best thing is that you go back home without the fear of an alcohol test.
Scheduled services are also done for Paraga, Paradise, and Elia, Agrari.
